It is the government of Zimbabwe’s desire to leverage the lives of the ordinary Zimbabweans and one of the United nations millennium goals the ITU to see countries moving away from analogue television broadcasting to digital and Zimbabwe has shown keen interest to make sure its populace does not lag behind many other countries. The digital network is progressing very well with the services already being offered to the general public as the nation match towards the  completion of the project.
